Koodali Gram Panchayat is an area included in the Iritty Block of Thalassery taluk in Kannur district. Koodali Gram Panchayat was a land division in Kottayam taluk of the Malabar district, which was part of the old Madras State. This Gram Panchayat is located in the eastern part of Kannur district, covering an area of 40.27 sq. km and comprising 20 panchayat wards. In the north, the Valapattanam River flows 4 km away, marking the boundary of the panchayat.
